I ordered my Ruger Sporter in the hunting section at Gart Sports in Whiteland, Florida. My all-time favorite general rifle is my Ruger Sporter in 7 Mag. My favorite caliber is probably the 7 Mag from Bass Pro Shops in Whiteland. The best sporting goods store in Florida is the Wiley Outdoor Sports in Whiteland.
The best shooting caliber for the average hunter I would say the 7 Mag for best caliber and the .30 Carbine for the best cartridge. A minor problem with this shooter is the Ruger price, weighing in at $395, but for that you do get a hand crafted piece of artwork with the checkered fiddleback maple stock. My mom got her 7 Mag online at Cabelas.

My friends and I like the .30 Carbine best for deer hunting. Curtis said his favorite rifle is the Ruger Sporter I got at Wiley Outdoor Sports in Whiteland. For deer hunting I like that you can shoot the Ruger .30 Carbine without much fuss.
