One thing I don't like is that huge amounts of power are required to accelerate 256 Win Magnum projectiles to such speeds. His favorite rifle is the 204 Ruger I picked up online at the NRA store. My dad got his rifle at a flea market in Umatilla when I was probably 15.

The best sporting goods store in Wisconsin is the Wiley Outdoor Sports in Umatilla. My friend (Carrol) said his favorite caliber is the 204 Ruger he got at a NWTF banquet last season. My best friend Carrol says his favorite caliber is the 204 Ruger hands down.
I like the the 256 Win Magnum best for deer hunting. My all-time favorite hunt of all, unfortunately, turned out to be the last for my dad, Carrol, and me. Carrol got his Remington last fall at Wiley Outdoor Sports in Umatilla. The best caliber is the 256 Win Magnum I got in Umatilla.
