My all-time favorite hunt was in Hessmer when you took Gwyn out and the two of you fall asleep, but still managed to get the buck with your 270 Weatherby magnum. Donnell got his Marlin last fall at Wiley Outdoor Sports in Hessmer. My most favorite rifle is everything made by Marlin. One thing I don't like with the 308 Win. barrel is if you put a scope on you lose your irons, the scope rail runs into the rear sights so they have to come off to use a scope. I got my Marlin in the hunting section at Gart Sports in Hessmer, Alaska.
